Woodchuckin’

Today was really warm, so we used the opportunity to cut up a maple tree that blew over in the windstorm last week. Rigs enjoyed barking at the chainsaw until I corrected him. Dad did most of the bucking, and I did most of the splitting and throwing of wood into the truck.  My girlfriend helped stack wood in the shed, and took the picture. It seems Rigs and I have the same expression on our faces. After the woodwork was done, we went on a walk, ate hamburgers and then did some grinding in the shop. Things are coming along with the current batch of big blades. The CNC work on the tomahawks hasn’t commenced yet, so it’s possible we’ll have to heat treat big batches early this spring: one of swords, and one of tomahawks.Jared and lumberjack Rigs
