Our Tanuki Series is inspired by the Japanese Samurai fighting blades Tanto, Wakisashi and Katana.
The Tanuki is an omnivorous critter that lives in Japan. Known as the Raccoon dog; it is a symbol of an omnivore that animal. Mario from the Nintendo game wore a Tanuki suit that allowed him to float down slowly through the air, and whack goomba with his tail.
